This isn't a freebie or a fashion post but OMG I had to share this. A fellow chairstalker sent me this note about some fast rezzer thingie, but it only works with the Emerald Greenlife viewer. I wanted to get it anyway (Emerald just added bouncing boob graphics, it's been blogged but really you have to see it, lol). So I got Emerald, then I got the cheapie version of this fast rezzer and WOW! It works! SL takes forever to rezz for me, especially MM boards and lucky chairs, but this sped it up so I think I'll be using Emerald from now on! Thanks L =)
I talked to the creator for a few minutes, since he was at the place I bought it. He gave a few tips, like waiting for the rezzer to cycle through before pushing the button again (it works off the F12 button, so if you have gestures programmed for that button you'd need to put a different cue in there, I found that out after dancing around for 5 minutes before realizing what was happening) and that it also (unadvertised) speeds up inventory loading among other things. Yay!

WHAT IS IT?
This item speeds up your reztimes, it's that simple.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Whenever you Teleport, just trigger the Emerald Speed Rezzer© and watch the difference.
DOES IT WORK?
Yes! It absolutely works. It has been tested on a wide range of SIMs, and ALWAYS has gotten a noticeable and positive result.
This is set to trigger either via a chat command, or by pressing one KEY on your keyboard.
DID YOU TEST THIS:
Yes. I ran a beta test with about 50 testers, all feedback on its effect and performance was positive.
I have a folder full of feedback notecards from people who were amazed at how fast everything rezzed for them.
The reason I offer a PLUS version is because of that feedback.
IS IT HARD TO USE?
No. It's VERY simple to use(just press one key), and it works like a charm every time.
Just follow the simple instructions that come in the Instructions notecard, and it takes about three(3) seconds to set up.
That's it.
WHAT ELSE DOES IT DO?
Additional Reported Benefits:
Pressing F12 just before teleporting speeds up your teleport.
Using the Emerald Speed Rezzer© will actually "unstick" your avatar when you're locked in lag.
These are unofficial benefits, and aren't the purpose of the Emerald Speed Rezzer©, but the way it works provide these perks as well :)
I also added a slight modification that corrects the chest hole bug introduced in the GreenLife Emerald Viewer, version 1.23.4
DOES IT WORK ONLY WITH GREENLIFE EMERALD VIEWER?
Yes. This is made specifically for Emerald Viewer, and does NOT work with any other viewer.
SO REALLY, IT DOESN'T WORK WITH ANY OTHER VIEWERS?
Really, it ONLY works with Emerald.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE IN THE VERSIONS?
There are two versions available. The standard Emerald Speed Rezzer©, and Emerald Speed Rezzer PLUS©
The standard version performs the basic task, and spams in public chat that you're using it so that other Emerald users can find out about it.
The PLUS version includes three (3) Fast(normal use) versions, and three(3) Slow(for extra laggy places) versions,
I also include a copy of the standard version with the PLUS version, so that you can let others know that you're using it.
The PLUS version doesn't spam chat. Only YOU see the text that it's producing(which lets you know that it's doing its job).
IS IT A HUD?
No, it's not a HUD. You won't have to attach this anywhere on your screen.
DO I WEAR IT?
No, you don't have to use an attachment slot on your avatar with this.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The short answer is this:
The Emerald Speed Rezzer© forces the server to deliver prim and texture information to you in a way that makes much more sense, rather than the random way that the SL Servers do so. You will see an IMMEDIATE result when using the Emerald Speed Rezzer©
Additionally, the Emerald Speed Rezzer© forces SL to use your bandwidth in a more ordered way, optimizing the information being sent to you on top of prioritizing it in a way that makes sense.
DOES IT LAG OTHER PEOPLE AROUND ME?
No. The Emerald Speed Rezzer© actually smoothes and regulates your bandwidth usage in a way that makes sense. Instead of the erratic spikes in bandwidth common with Teleporting and Rezzing, you get an even, smooth flow of information. It should actually REDUCE the lag to those around you on top of optimizing your rez times.
DOES IT LAG THE SERVER(SCRIPT TIME?)?
No. This product uses ZERO script time. It does not negatively impact the server at all.
As a matter of fact, this helps regulate the bandwith the server is sending out, and should help IMPROVE the server's overall performance.
WHY IS IT SO CHEAP?
I sell this dirt cheap for two reasons.
First, I think Emerald is a great viewer, and anything I can do to help promote and expand it is a good thing.
Second, this is a VERY simple concept, and wasn't hard to make. I DO, however, have to pay tier/rent, so I'm charging a little bit.
IS THIS THE FIRST EMERALD SPECIFIC PRODUCT TO BE SOLD IN SECOND LIFE?
Yes, the Emerald Speed Rezzer© is the first Emerald Specific product to be SOLD in SL. However, it wasn't the first product OFFERED.
LordGregGreg Back(One of the Emerald Developers) happily informed me that he offered the first Emerald Specific product(s) in SL, albeit he didn't charge at all for them.
OH YEAH, WELL WHAT ELSE?
Use the Emerald Speed Rezzer© and feel the love.
If you feel the love, spread the word.
If enough people use this, and start bringing more people over to Emerald with it, maybe LL will actually pay attention to FIXING the rez times!
I've shown them with this product how easy it is to increase the performance from the CLIENT side.
Imagine what it could achieve if they did this from the SERVER side!
