The theme this month at Twe12ve is "Memories", and the gorgeous items from The Artist Shed and Myth made me a little nostalgic. There are some people who I miss dearly, and I just hope they are happy and safe. So this post is dedicated to Tan and Richy.

Anyway, look how cool these things are! The clock is from Myth, it's scripted, you can adjust it to your local time, it ticks and rings, I love it! The bench and boxes are from the Artist Shed, and they're all staying in my house!

10/10/2016 - A little faerie dust

I think I still have my first dress from Evie's Closet in my inventory. It's from 2008. Evangeline Miles has always been one of my favourite designers in SL. And for a few years now she's also been one of my favourite people. Needless to say, when I heard she released a new dress for We ♥ RP, I just had to have it. The dress comes in standard sizing, but I was able to fit it on my Maitreya body, with the exception of the lovely sleeves, which Evie warned us about on her blog. The flower wreath comes with the dress.

08/10/2016 - One very mad Circus

Hello! It's been a fairly crazy first week back at RL work, after such a long break, I admit I'm exhausted. But I know it'll get easier.

I've had the honour of getting invited to participate in the second round of Twe12ve, a new event that starts, obviously, on the 12th of each month. Being in the group, I kept getting all these notices for another event, Mad Circus, that opened just a few minutes ago and runs until the end of the month. As soon as I was done with my boxing and set up, I took a look at what it was about. To quote the organisers, "The theme of the event is Halloween, dark, twisted, Alice in wonderland, circus bizarre."

I have found some things that I really like, and that I may show you in the next few days if I can manage the time, but here is the first outfit I set up, and I really love it! You'll find the credits at the end of the post, as usual, and the taxi to Mad Circus right here.

Hello!

I usually avoid gachas. They take all my money and I end up with a bunch of things I don't need and not the one thing I wanted. But I also usually make an exception with Clawtooth hair, because I don't need the rare, just the brunettes pack, and I tend to get lucky.

I went by the Dilly Dolls store today, because the Twisted Hunt has started and she had that gorgeous mesh corset out. I'm not one to show my boobies so I'm wearing a tank top layer from Izzie's underneath.

Hello!

I got a dog.

This morning I was hopping from store to store for Fifty Linden Fridays, and if you know me at all, you know I'm not into home decor. I mean I love what some people make in SL, but my home is basically two boxes in the sky with a pose stand in one, and what could probably qualify as a living room in the other.

So when I get some thing that doesn't get attached to my doll, it had better be very nice and very low li. I was the first surprised to get that ceramic dog :

That thing looked so sad on the front porch of the store, I just had to give it a home.

It has the lyrics to a song I love printed on it.

Last night was Prom. From what I understand it's a very popular event people love to dress for and attend. Since I wasn't supposed to be home, I didn't even consider going, and when a crying 5 month old had my plans cancelled, I felt too shy to ask for an invite. Hello peeps!

There's a French saying that basically states that only stupid people never change their mind. Well. I always said I hated the Lelutka heads. And I did. With a passion. But then Gala Phoenix made appliers for Lelutka heads. So I just had to get one. I tried them all. Several times. And again. And I finally chose Karin, because to me it was the softest face. Then I added freckles. And glasses. And just like that, BOOM! It felt like me.

So I thought I'd show you. And play with it a little. I find it amazing how, with just a tiny change, it changes the personality of the face completely. As you probably can guess, #3 is me.

Hello lovely people!

Some days, I am inspired to write a lot of things on here, others, not so much. Today is a few-words kind of post. 

A new round of We ♥ RP has just opened, and obviously, there are a lot of things there that are absolutely gorgeous. Some are my style, others not so much, but the quality of the items offered there is incredible.

Purple party

I was searching for a cute dress to wear my new free shoes with the other day, and found this cute mesh sequined thing for only 1l$ on Market Place. It comes in 5 sizes and honestly, it's really nice for only 1l$. I matched is with my Secret Store shoes (group gift), put a little make-up on, and I was ready to party. Unfortunately, all the good dance places I knew seem to have gone... One was even in ruins.

Sunny Sunday.

Hello everyone, happy Sunday! Since I have a few days off work, I have a little time to blog, and I'm happy to show you a few pretty things that I got these past few days. First off, Evie released a while ago a lovely mesh outfit for Zodiac, called Kasia, that I had shown here. Since it was absolutely gorgeous, she decided to release more colors, and Petite versions. If you want my opinion, that's a brilliant idea.  As you can see below on the top right (normal) and bottom left (Petite), Evie puts as much care into the details for the Petite avis as she does for the taller ones. I've matched the outfits with the Sabina jewelry set from Krystal, another wonder of prim work, with tiny details and color change gems.

Of course I had to go buy another Petite avi, and I found out Al Vulo recently released a new one, called Polly II. I love the soft skin and overall adorable look of these new Petites! The hair my Petite avi is wearing is a group gift from Alice Project, it's her very first mesh hair specially resized for these tiny avatars. You may notice the glitch with the alpha and the mesh, I hope she fixes it for the official release, but I figured it's cute enough, and a gift, so I decided I'd show you anyway. It comes with the infinity color HUD (aka a bazilion different possibilities, color-wise)

I was even able, with a little twitching, to fit my beloved eyes from Poetic Colors (make sure to make a copy before any drastic change to an item). 

The hair worn on my normal avi are all group gifts too, from Exile. They come in all colors but I chose to wear my favorite tone from Exile, Marone. I particularly like the very elegant updo shown on the top pictures, Violetta. The ones below, Rayanne (left) and Betty Lou (right) have lovely color-change accessories.
