Sunset walk

CHIC2 ends on June 24, so you still have time to drop by, if you didn't go there already - or to make some low-lag purchases for your pixel doll.
For this post, I chose a lovely dress by Bilo. If you're in to retro styles and patterns, this is the dress for you!
I added a beautiful jewelry set by Je Suis, a matching clutch and a sophisticated hairstyle by LeLutka to complete the look.
Also, if you have lazy days or simply can't find the perfect location for your photos, I recommend the Flickr Stock Images group, where great and generous SL photographers keep adding images for that can be used as backgrounds. For this photo, I chose a stock image by Harper Ganesvoort that was perfect for the outfit and the lightning that I needed for my photo. On with the Shock!

Culture Shock, that is! With this event about to start (one more day, yay!) I'm seriously thinking to move RL me into the pixel world. Not that I have something against RL, but oh man, the clothes! (and the skins,  and the hair, and the shapes!) RL me would be happy in with all that inventory overload!
Ok, back to earth now! Culture Shock starts on May 4th and about 18o stores will be part of it. Each brand has at least one charity item, with 50% or 100% of the sales going to Médecins Sans Frontières. 
For this post I chose a dress by Solidea Folies - edgy as usual and this time mesh too. The dress comes in 5 sizes, but because of the see-through areas, it does not come with an alpha layer, so be sure to demo! Moniq is an S for the upper body and an M for the lower body, but she is wearing the large size in this post, to prevent the body poking through the mesh.
The C Star skin is also a limited edition for the event, with sales going to MSF. It seemed to be the perfect choice for this dress.
I added this lovely jewelry set by Miao - it comes with color-change options for the stones and the necklace and this edgy hair style by Miao.
The pose is by Juxtapose and is a prize in the High Voltage Hunt.

Plans for a sunny day

Are you tired of looking out the window and seeing the same cloudy sky and the same greyish landscape? Come to Las Arenas Rosadas with me, we're going to get some virtual tan!

Just another manic Monday

For the happy few, today is the last day of the new year vacation. The rest of us are already used to work and wait for the next day off. This post is dedicated to those happy few. Because they will think the first working Monday of the year sucks so bad and they will need a cute outfit to make them feel better. So how about you try this look?
Though it's a mild winter, a warm coat is still a must. And it can look pretty cool and fashionable too. Getting it for a special price is a bonus!
