Somnia Sale!

I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger. But fortunately Bel has been keeping the place alive, so I hope you'll forgive me. I have to say I've been very busy with RL, and didn't get much time to SL, let alone blog. 

But when Sanura Snowpaw announced she was having a sale, I just had to tell you about it. If you don't know Sanura, let me tell you a few things about her. Not only is she a talented designer, she's also an amazing person, who will always be there to help when needed. She's also very fond of her pets (I'm not sure but I think she has like 15 cats and dogs or something like that ^^) and animals in general. A few years ago after the tsunami in Japan, she organised the event "Fur Japan" destined to raise funds to help abandoned pets, which I was very proud to take part in. So anyway, that's Sanu for you. Well now she needs your help. 

One of her dogs, Kassie, is in need of surgery, and as you know, vets don't work for free. There's a GoFundMe if you want to help, but I suggest you show her love by buying her stuff, especially since everything in the store is 50% off. Sanu makes lovely and cheap mesh clothes, and, well, they're even cheaper at the moment. I went on a spree! But since I'm a lazy blogger, I only put together one outfit to show you. (If I happen to have time in the next few days I'll try and show more)

The Moopsie dress is a lovely and comfy autumn dress that comes in 8 different colours in one pack. It's mesh and comes in standard sizing (but I was able to fit it easily on my Maitreya Lara body, jus so you know)

The hair is the latest release from Magika, and if you haven't already, I suggest you go get the group gift that is pretty much the same hair with a witch hat (it comes in a green tone BUT if you buy the one I'm wearing you can use the HUD on the gift - so that's 2 hats for the price of one!)

Somnia and some Hair Fair gorgeousness

Hello everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far! As usual, I'm here to show you pretty things. You may or may not know it, but Sanura Snowpaw, of Somnia, has a thing for argyle patterns, and when she uses them on flawless little mesh dresses, it is simply bound to be stunning. She's just released 2 packs of 6 colors each. Each pack is sold 300l$ only, which is a great deal if you ask me. The dresses come in standard sizes, but make sure to try a demo, just in case, and with the usual alpha layer. Here are a few of the colors you can get. I have deliberately chosen for those posts to have plain black or extra simple backgrounds, so the focus remains on the items themselves, and also to enhance the loneliness and feeling of being trapped that some people with social anxiety or other mental health disorder may experience.

I know some person who are having similar problems and I sometimes feel helpless for them.
But I hope that letting them know I'm here for them, to listen to them when they want to talk or just stand next to them when they don't feel like it, is already helping them a little.
So to one of them who is a very special friend of mine... I love you and you can count on me.

Etheria

Etheria has started and well.. what could be the bestest word to describe it.
I think the best I could come up with without writing a novel would be : . . . . . w o a h

Let's start with the little detail that counts a lot for me ... and I'm pretty sure most of the people who bought it just thought nice and poof .. delete .. but for me .. when you get to rezz such a cute box, there is no way that was is packed inside is ugly.

Pretty please Mouse Mimistrobell, don't make me lie and don't place ugly stuff in it !

But let's get back to Etheria itself now.... The idea is to team up clothes and jewelry designers to make together one unique outfit. I invite you to check the event directly here or check Shopping Cart Disco roundup to see all the creations !

First up .. Somnia and Miao creations. Christine dress and Heather Stones jewelry.

Both of them come with 7 different colors to chose from and the jewelry also offer a wide range of choices between main and accent stones and the metal parts.

Second .. and I here matched two elements from two different collaborations ... is Whippet and Buck for the outfit and Dark Mouse for the jewelry.

I love both of those at first sight. The retro underwear set from Whippet and Buck had such a cute doll look .. and matched with My Lady Love set from Dark Mouse, it was a perfect femme fatale look. So hurry, it'll end on January 8th !
