Hello lovely people!

Some days, I am inspired to write a lot of things on here, others, not so much. Today is a few-words kind of post. 

A new round of We ♥ RP has just opened, and obviously, there are a lot of things there that are absolutely gorgeous. Some are my style, others not so much, but the quality of the items offered there is incredible. 

Below, I'm showing you the latest gown from Kouse's Sanctum, in my two favourite tones, but there are others. The gowns are usually 400l$, but they are discounted 25% off for the duration of the event. I matched it with lovely jewelry from Krystal.

Sharing Love

One more post for you about Back to Black. And yes, it's now open so ... get your pixels there !
I have deliberately chosen for those posts to have plain black or extra simple backgrounds, so the focus remains on the items themselves, and also to enhance the loneliness and feeling of being trapped that some people with social anxiety or other mental health disorder may experience.

I know some person who are having similar problems and I sometimes feel helpless for them.
But I hope that letting them know I'm here for them, to listen to them when they want to talk or just stand next to them when they don't feel like it, is already helping them a little.
So to one of them who is a very special friend of mine... I love you and you can count on me.

Happy Blog's Birthday Shay

My dear friend Shay is celebrating the 3rd anniversary of her blog Shay and the SL Shopping Gang.
She actually is the one who dragged me into the blogging adventure, and I first started writing on her blog before Rose and I open Look What The Cat Brought.
Now she still rocks her blog and you may even see her dropping a post here and now on The Cat.

But back to the birthday itself.
To properly celebrate it and wish her many more blogging time, she opened a group and some wonderful designers spoiled her and all the ones who are joining the party with gifts.

Romance

First ... and yes I know Neida already blogged those gorgeous gown by Kouse's Sanctum, but those were a total crush for me.
For two reasons. One, Isabella is the name of my mother, and second, by sheer coincidence, it happens that this gown looks very similar to my mother's wedding gown !

It’s no secret that I’ve been store modeling for Kouse’s Sanctum for.. uhh.. a while now, I have no idea when I started actually. But I swear my gushing isn’t bias, I was a huge fan long before I applied and still would be a frequent customer today. So now that you’re prepared..

I’m totally gushing over this one! I’ve been waiting anxiously couple of days for the actual release and she finally put it out this morning. I am completely in love with this dress. It’s so simple, but so, so stunning at the same time. The textures are incredibly rich and slightly shaded just perfectly. The skirting.. it moves like fluid. Normally, blues are my favorite colors, no matter how much I try to mix things up, which includes red now and again. In this release, a red offshoot she’s called Garnet is probably my favorite color in the batch, it’s really incredible! Also, I have a thing about draped sleeves, back drapes and off the shoulder tops. This release makes me super happy on all 3 counts. Anyway, I picked a few to show here but it’s available in a few additional colors too!

Ellen and Ruth

A nice blanket of snow had covered my land when I woke up this morning, and I can only wish the same would happen on my RL whereabouts (well, I would have to change the tires on my car and I'm too lazy for that). I went to check on my mutant bunnies while listening to my first Xmas carols of the season, well, er... does that qualify as a Christmas carol? ^^

Vintage Pt 2

My Vintage Fair shopping spree part 2.. Cute and classic polka dots from Kouse’s Sanctum! I said previously I don’t do much vintage personally, but I’ve been wearing this classic dress for several hours just to watch the skirt movement. Sounds strange, but seriously, try it!



2nd dress is “Donna” from PurpleMoon Creations.



This Charleston dress from Sweet Antidote is a dress that has to be danced it. I’m specifically thinking those old west settings with pianos in the tavern. Don’t ask, it’s just what comes to mind.



And last but not least is this little Junior Prom dress from Sn@tch.

Wearing Snowflakes

I am seriously grateful and humbled by the opportunities I’ve been given in the past week regarding SL. Thank you, Mae, for allowing me to take my journey here, too. For readers, I didn’t hijack Mae’s blog, I swear! She let me in as another new addition to her collection of bloggers.

I’m kicking off my time here with something spectacular and some “I’ve gone overboard with layers”- ness. Kouse of Kouse’s Sanctum released a new gown today in 8 colors. I think I melted into a puddle when I put one of these on the first time. It’s Kouse style gowns with beautiful snowflake details and ribbon edges and so pretty! It was difficult to accurately picture the back, so you might have to see those for yourself to really appreciate how the bustle sits. And, if you head down to the 2^nd level of her store, the Christmas Advent sales board is still there with the snowflake tiara on it, which matches perfectly!

When I went looking to accessorize with this gown, especially in red, I knew I wanted a winter cloak. Don’t ask me, but I have a thing for cloaks and I have a hard time finding the “right” ones. I did this time though! The cloak is from Arwen’s Creations and has a fur lined hood with some options too, but if I wore that I couldn’t show the tiara, and that would just be wrong!

The older and overboard part is all in my head.. or on it, rather. I go through spurts where I really need to do something outside the ordinary, even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else.

These pictures were all taken at the Christmas Village where I played for quite a while and grinned like a fool the entire time. As much as I love fall, there really is something about Christmas time.. On a side note, I promise to try to be a little simpler in future posts.. there's a lot of "stuff" here, sorry!

Cherishing the Cherry...

I always enjoy showing you new creations from Kouse's Sanctum, and these two won't be an exception. On the first pic is Alicia, a gown originally designed as a wedding dress for Alicia Chenaux, a fellow blogger and sweet lady. Kouse has now released it in several colors, including this gorgeous deep red, my favorite as you know.

Beulah is yet another little miracle from dear Kouse, the skirt looks so smooth and the top part is so detailed, it's simply another must have.

The cute haircut is the latest wonder from Magika, and you know you want it, especially since from now on, Sabina sells only 2 color packs (one natural colors, one fantasy colors) for 250l$ each, that's 25 colors in each pack, a steal!
