I know, I know, I'm really bad at keeping this thing up. But you know what? RL is super busy, and finding a moment to write a blog post is near impossible these days. Take this picture for example :

It took me weeks to take it. I acquired the gorgeous gown on the 15th. There was an issue with delivery so I only got it a few hours later. Then I wanted a new skin to match it, and I tried pretty much every skin maker on the grid to find the one. I tried I think 50 demos, took pictures of the good ones, sorted them, and ended up with 20, that I showed my friends... took me 3 days to decide. Then there was the hair. Since I buy tons of hair already, I have a rule to never buy new hair for a post. Which meant I had to try my whole hair folder to find the perfect match. Three more days. Good thing I am not showing any shoes or I'm not sure I would ever have finished. Jewelry was easier, I knew I wanted something from Cae, that I have been dying to try. I wasn't disappointed.

Last night was Prom. From what I understand it's a very popular event people love to dress for and attend. Since I wasn't supposed to be home, I didn't even consider going, and when a crying 5 month old had my plans cancelled, I felt too shy to ask for an invite. Hello peeps!

There's a French saying that basically states that only stupid people never change their mind. Well. I always said I hated the Lelutka heads. And I did. With a passion. But then Gala Phoenix made appliers for Lelutka heads. So I just had to get one. I tried them all. Several times. And again. And I finally chose Karin, because to me it was the softest face. Then I added freckles. And glasses. And just like that, BOOM! It felt like me.

So I thought I'd show you. And play with it a little. I find it amazing how, with just a tiny change, it changes the personality of the face completely. As you probably can guess, #3 is me.

First post of the year.

Hello,

Just a quick post because really want to show you a few things. First, after resisting for months, I finally joined the army of clones... well not so much since there are now dozens of mesh heads available. It really took me a while to find one that I didn't hate with a passion. I won't name names but some made me want to slap their resting bitch faces, some I found flat, the rest I found plain ugly.

Plus there's the issue of not being able to wear my favourite skins with a head I could like.

But 2 days ago, a miracle happened. Someone on Plurk posted a picture of a new Genesis Lab head that I found nice enough to want to demo it. So I went to the store but never found it (because obviously, it was at an event, duh), and since I was there and looking at heads, I demo'd a few and found Emily. Emily comes in a gacha, which usually bothers me, but I got lucky and got the rare ones fairly quickly.  At the bottom of this post you'll find the vendor add, each try is 99l$. 

Also, all the appliers for different bodies (in my case Maitreya), hands and feet (Slink) are free, which I find very nice.

The hair is Sabina Gully's latest wonder, it's called Love Song and you'll find it in her mainstore, Magika.

The outfit is a lovely number from Zenith, found at Collabor88, the shirt/dress under the loose sweater can be changed using the HUD, there are enough options to choose from to match it with pretty much anything, in this case the cute chevron tights from Izzie's.

Hello!!

Unless you've been living in a Ruth avatar, alone on your platform for all your SLife, you have to know who Damien Fate is. That guy can pretty much make everything in SL. His current and most famous stores are Cold Logic (with Janie Marlow from Jane and Zyrra Falcone), FateWear (men's clothes), and FatePlay (role play apparel for both genders)

So obviously when he announced a few days ago the birth of a new store in collaboration with Janie Marlowe, I was thrilled. Well... they did not disappoint.

Somnia Sale!

I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger. But fortunately Bel has been keeping the place alive, so I hope you'll forgive me. I have to say I've been very busy with RL, and didn't get much time to SL, let alone blog. 

But when Sanura Snowpaw announced she was having a sale, I just had to tell you about it. If you don't know Sanura, let me tell you a few things about her. Not only is she a talented designer, she's also an amazing person, who will always be there to help when needed. She's also very fond of her pets (I'm not sure but I think she has like 15 cats and dogs or something like that ^^) and animals in general. A few years ago after the tsunami in Japan, she organised the event "Fur Japan" destined to raise funds to help abandoned pets, which I was very proud to take part in. So anyway, that's Sanu for you. Well now she needs your help. 

One of her dogs, Kassie, is in need of surgery, and as you know, vets don't work for free. There's a GoFundMe if you want to help, but I suggest you show her love by buying her stuff, especially since everything in the store is 50% off. Sanu makes lovely and cheap mesh clothes, and, well, they're even cheaper at the moment. I went on a spree! But since I'm a lazy blogger, I only put together one outfit to show you. (If I happen to have time in the next few days I'll try and show more)

The Moopsie dress is a lovely and comfy autumn dress that comes in 8 different colours in one pack. It's mesh and comes in standard sizing (but I was able to fit it easily on my Maitreya Lara body, jus so you know)

The hair is the latest release from Magika, and if you haven't already, I suggest you go get the group gift that is pretty much the same hair with a witch hat (it comes in a green tone BUT if you buy the one I'm wearing you can use the HUD on the gift - so that's 2 hats for the price of one!)
