Nameless Post

Hello!

As long as I've been in SL, Evangeline Miles has always been one of my favorite designers, back then, her flawless textures on prims made her one of the best gown makers on the grid. There was a meme on Plurk yesterday about people you find intimidating. Well her. She was. A LOT. Plus she was an admin on the sim where I was roleplaying, which made her nothing short of a goddess to me. 

Then one day, I can't even remember how it happened. She and I talked, and I realised that in RL, her life was pretty parallel to mine, and we have much more in common than I would have ever imagined. I am not intimidated by her anymore, but I feel humbled, every day, to count such an amazing person among my friends.

What I did now know about Evie Miles, though, is that she throws away amazing textures away, because they're not perfect enough for her. That girl is crazy, let me tell you. This time though, it seems she got her sense back and slapped one of these "not good enough" textures on her latest dress, Caoimhe (btw if someone can tell me how to pronounce that, I'll be very happy)

The result, a gorgeous Nameless dress, free for her group members, and only 100l$ for everyone else. If you've never bought anything from Evie's Closet, now's the good time to start.

The hair, you might have noticed, is not my usual color, but it's a gift and honestly I think I'll end up buy the color pack anyway. I did have a bit of an awkward moment, when, wondering why I didn't receive it, I realised I wasn't in the group. I still have no clue as to how that happened, but that mistake is corrected, and I can be faaaabulous now.

That post is actually all about gifts. Sileny told us the other day that we absolutely should join Secret Love inworld group, because it's going to turn awesome very quick. Well thank you Sil, I now have a gorgeous necklace and matching bracelet to prove your point.

Fun and Choices

It's a beautiful day and there's a crispness in the air suggestive of wonderful things! I love the Holiday Season, which to me starts with Halloween and wends it's way on toward New Year's with a progression of fun. This year, I've found some even more wonderful reasons to love the year starting with a fun new toy cooked up by a friend, Rainwatercat. Available at her shop, Rainy Day Prims Shop is this amusing vehicle, the Hamster Mobile!



Now, I don't know the price, but for those of you who have been forced to drive a car that is little more than a few hamsters and a tin can....Yeah, can't resist the lure!

As long as we are on the subject of shiny things, take a look at this!



It's the first Advent Gift of the season! I dropped by Fairy Pearls, known for their beautiful fairy snow globes given out as free giftings each month when what should appear to my wondering eyes but the first Advent Calendar treat, a lovely snowman who greets you with a jaunty tip of the hat. What a sweetheart!

After that, I had to have a look at Wishbox, where I picked up this beautiful group gift called "Understatement" and had a look around. Of course I squeed with glee the moment I tried this glam gown on!



But it was nothing to my squeals of joy when the gracious Ms. Jinn offered to let me blog this spectacular gown, Wishbox Fairest Maiden II Blue. This gown is amazing, and not just for the lovely, jewel-tone clarity of the colors or the amazing quality. Next, lets talk about the spectacular jewelry I'm wearing. I consider it quite an honor, and wish to extend my thanks to Alienbear Grupte. Simply Fae has some news ! First, let's start with the October group gift. A version of the Polaris gown which is simply somptuous ! The color between green and teal, it perfectly fits the lady I guess Boaz had in mind when she created this gown ^-^.. The corset underlines the waist, and gives to the dress a little "wench dress" look which is just adorable.

But, be ready to be amazed with Boaz latest release. Muse is stunning; I'm wearing here the Autumn Muse. I enjoyed the nature tones of it. It's available in 5 different colors, and for 400L. Go check them out!

Inara's fantasy and Mae's finds

Let's start with something I should have blogged already *blush blush* but things kept piling in my inventory *makes a note reminding her of reading the notes saying "Clean your inventory!!!"*
Anyway, the wonderful Skyler John sent to Mystic Sky members an edition of the Belladonna in Lavendar. A somptuous gown with a bustled skirt.. and I'm not sure you can see the cute little roses attached there. So lovely !

And you must check Inara's Fantasy Couture for there are some stunning gown to get there! Thanks so much to my friend Shay for telling me about this store. It's wonderful, and Inara's creations are just wonderful ... and so fairly priced. But let's head back to the gifties.
The red gown is the gift from the Vampire Hunt, the breathtaking white gown is truely a Princess Gown, and it's also a group gift (Join the group asap, there will be a fee after the second week of October to join the group) and the last one is the Pumpkin Paw Print hunt gift !

And meh is glad to say the wonderful Rainy released new skins !!! Isabeau got a facelift and it's back ! I'm just showing you some samples, but believe me there are stunning ! And so cute with the freckles!

The next two gowns are Aria Swansong's creations, the very same Aria who is behind Aria's Dream. And good thing, they are to get in the lucky chair ! New gifties sound good right ?!

The Llyra gown in pink is simply a miracle and if you remember right the Llyra in Summer Sea was this month group gift ! And the FaerieMeadow is an adorable gown, and its Apricot color, just makes you wan to eat some !

The very long one in the top picture is Lola, from Analog Dog, and great news, Queue Marlowe, the talented designer of Analog's hair is holding a sale. All items in the sale section are down to 20L and a good amount of other styles have seen their prices reduced!

So let's have a little look at the latest gifts dropped by DSN and groups...
First is PixelDolls last group gift... a delicious silver bikini to be worn tied or untied as you wish. To be noted as well the tintable option so color won't be a problem here ! We can get a nice tan with the color of the day. And for the total sea-look .. I hope you grabbed Tekeli-li gift at Hair Fair !

Next is Silk and Satyr DSN gift... this set of silks is awesome. In my opinion it could also be worn as a very stylish swinsuit though it's not covering much on your behind *grins* Note the drapes are strippable, so yes this was much fun for a certain someone to rip them off while I was dancing at the Club Drow in Avilion Vale.

Last but not the least... A piece of Candy group gift is sooo cute... I wish I would get the same in RL for this summer, as the weather seems not to be tired of being so hot. Mwuah.. thanks designers for the gifts !
