I found a treasure in a Caverna Obscura

Yes, I visited Caverna Obscura .. I didn't know it much before the Fantasy Faire, but when I saw it.. I recognised at the second I saw it what is and will always stay for me "Devora's dress"(see here the related picture and post).
And then I started talking around about Caverna Obscura, how nice it is, how detailled are the items..

and Magenta got sweet enough to show me off all the outfits she owns from there.

An Avilionian Storm

A new release from Avilion Mist and yet another proof of their creative skill and certain taste.
This outfit is called Storm and comes with nothing less than 31 pieces for endless mix and match possibilities and as many looks as your mind can think of.

The set includes the boots, the cloak, a hood and mask (not shown here) and the details are just incredibly stunning. The corset with laces both in front and back, the skirt (to be worn open or closed), the sleeves and gloves.. all this together creates the perfect look for the ladies who want to fight and still look feminine at wish.

Just one advice on this... if you're a lady and a roleplayer in medieval themed sims.. you better go get your "Storm" now !

Mix 'n Match

So let's have a little look at the latest gifts dropped by DSN and groups...
First is PixelDolls last group gift... a delicious silver bikini to be worn tied or untied as you wish. To be noted as well the tintable option so color won't be a problem here ! We can get a nice tan with the color of the day. And for the total sea-look .. I hope you grabbed Tekeli-li gift at Hair Fair !

Next is Silk and Satyr DSN gift... this set of silks is awesome. In my opinion it could also be worn as a very stylish swinsuit though it's not covering much on your behind *grins* Note the drapes are strippable, so yes this was much fun for a certain someone to rip them off while I was dancing at the Club Drow in Avilion Vale.

Last but not the least... A piece of Candy group gift is sooo cute... I wish I would get the same in RL for this summer, as the weather seems not to be tired of being so hot. Mwuah.. thanks designers for the gifts !

Let's have a night under this Mystic Sky

Yes... I do love Mystic Sky.. Since I first discovered it, thanks to FreeStyle bloggers, I followed carefully everything happening in this magic place. And after my little break of these last days I came back on the most delicious news...
First, a new lucky chair gift.. Arya in white and my my.. this dress is such a delight.. and now you can win it if you're lucky enough like me.. This was our destiny to be together for the second the chair rezzed to me, it was showing a very nice "S" waiting for me !

Second great news is... a contest.
Taking pictures is one of my favourite hobby, I do love messing with lights, settings and everything and each time one of these designers I love organise a contest, it's a challenge and a pleasure for me to try even more than usual to make their work look at its best.
So here it is for the rules of this one:
1.) In order to take part in this contest you must have a Flickr account.
2.) Entries will be accepted starting today 7/13/09 up until 7/27/09. Any entries received after 7/27/09 will not be able to partake in the photo contest. Only one photo entry per person.
3.) All photo entries must be posted to the ~Mystic Sky~ Clothing Design group. http://www.flickr.com/groups/1188671@N22/
4.) When posting a photo to the group for this contest please put the following information into the description of the photo so that I know it is meant as a contest entry. Mystic Sky Photo Contest and your Second Life avatar's name.
5.) Photoshopping is allowed, be creative and have fun with it!
6.) All contest entries must include at least one outfit from ~Mystic Sky~. (The free Medieval Male and Medieval Woman outfits cannot be used for this contest)
7.) More than one person can be in the photo. However the person submitting the photo is the person that will receive the prize if they win the contest.
8.) By submitting a photo to the ~Mystic Sky~ Clothing Design flickr group you give Skyler John permission to use this photo as an image in the ~Mystic sky~ store if she so chooses. There is a possiblility that some images may be choosen to hang in the main store location.

I'm a rebel

And I'm back a bit more for yourgreatest enjoyment I'm sure *grins* and let's start with the latest Blue Blood release.. Ghanima offers us a delight called "Rebellious" that comes in 5 colors and for the adorable price of 300L. A total steal.


Moreover when you consider than ... in your gothic-est dresses, you can get the cutest lolita look ! Yay

Status Quome: BUS-ted!

I decided to take a lil' trip around SL, but first I needed something to get me there. A spaceship? Too zippy. Maybe an elephant? Too big. Or a dragon? A dragon would be cool, it could light campfires for toasting marshmallows... but it might also light houses and toast avatars for its own meals, so... no, no dragon. And then I found this:

OMG, perfect!!! A VW bus! Just the thing to hold all the camping gear and me. Plus I can sleep in it and I can pick up friends along the way! YAY! Here I am about to have a little snack to boost my energy for...

...Tanning! It takes a lot of effort to just lie there and do nothing, you know. Especially if you're usually a spazz like me. Well, I couldn't stay still too long anyway, so I entertained myself with...

... this adoooorable mini-bus, that just happens to be pink! And when it flies it has a cloud of smoke just like a real one! (I think that was originally meant to cover up *other* kinds of smoke coming from other kinds of flying in hippie vans in the 60's. But I wasn't alive yet so it's just a guess.)

But while I was out and about, I did find some more fun stuff, like...

A cute pink house, and furniture and a blouse to match! (The table and chairs were a gift, the rest is all found in one place.)

This kimono-print dress and more pink furniture...

And a quick side trip to the Harlow sim opening for this drop-dead GORGEOUS skin! All in all it was a great day! (and test-driving the bus in the skybox was hilarious! Maybe it was the fumes?)

Mystic paradise

Mystic Paradise and Mystic Hope have moved, they now have a lovely new sim and ever so thankfully still have their discount section!

Rosie and Mae have covered them before but I thought I'd go check them out and they have dresses, oh I'm so in love with them too! Everything in the discount section is 50l and is so worth it!

The sim I did my modelling on is also delicious, it's so very pretty and has thunder and lightening and rain....! ooh I love it, it's called a dark faerie's dream in the elven forest.

$1L Hair Sale @ Adora's

So you would think that after Hair Fair, I could take a little break from my addiction...NOOOO!!! Once an addict, always an addict! In any case Adora's Skins & Shapes is having a fabulous $1L hair sale, all colors, all styles...OMG!!! The also have a great lucky chair with a fabulous skin if you are lucky enough to have your letter called! Some of the hair needed a bit of adjustment...but for $1L I will be glad to get out the edit keys!!! ~Dawn :)

Meh loves those great days with delights like Kouse and Boaz gowns... First picture is Christina.. last dream by Kouse.. for those who missed it ... Christina was introduced with a special offer for Canadian national day... 75L for a special edition.. awesome no ?
PLUS Kouse organised a little hunt at her store in Seabreeze.. you better hurry if it's not already finished.

And Boaz keeps me stunned with her latest creation... Jilyan... also available in a fae (short) version but the wonderful Rosie will be presenting it to you since she is a better fae than me !

Also I apologise for not posting a lot lately.. For those who spotted the info, I started a new job which is terribly time eating and .. unplanned detail... it's also awfully exhausting me physically and mentally for it's not what you can call a good position... so I'm fixing it and I'll try to be more there..
