10/10/2016 - A little faerie dust

I think I still have my first dress from Evie's Closet in my inventory. It's from 2008. Evangeline Miles has always been one of my favourite designers in SL. And for a few years now she's also been one of my favourite people. Needless to say, when I heard she released a new dress for We ♥ RP, I just had to have it. The dress comes in standard sizing, but I was able to fit it on my Maitreya body, with the exception of the lovely sleeves, which Evie warned us about on her blog. The flower wreath comes with the dress.

08/10/2016 - One very mad Circus

Hello! It's been a fairly crazy first week back at RL work, after such a long break, I admit I'm exhausted. But I know it'll get easier.

I've had the honour of getting invited to participate in the second round of Twe12ve, a new event that starts, obviously, on the 12th of each month. Being in the group, I kept getting all these notices for another event, Mad Circus, that opened just a few minutes ago and runs until the end of the month. As soon as I was done with my boxing and set up, I took a look at what it was about. To quote the organisers, "The theme of the event is Halloween, dark, twisted, Alice in wonderland, circus bizarre."

I have found some things that I really like, and that I may show you in the next few days if I can manage the time, but here is the first outfit I set up, and I really love it! You'll find the credits at the end of the post, as usual, and the taxi to Mad Circus right here.

Nadj is a RL friend of mine. She has green hair, loves all things octopusses, and is generally quite awesome. When I was sorting through the ever dreaded "objects" folder the other day, I found the Octo-tights Alaskametro released last year for Supa-8, and I just had to set up an outfit around them.

12/09/2016 - Paper Rabbit

Hello!

When I was telling you I make 2 exceptions to my exclusiveness with skins, Paper Rabbit was one of the designers I was talking about. I don't know if you know that, but Helyanwe Vindaloo, the awesome hair creator behind Doe (previously known as Ploom, previously known as Deviant Kitties - yes, I've been in SL that long) also makes skins. Back when I was wearing a system head, I bought Willow, a lovely drawn skin, and then I was sad because I couldn't wear it anymore on my head. But now there are appliers so yay!

I'm showing you below a few examples of Willow on Yael's Logo head, then on Rose's Lelutka head.

When you buy the skin, you choose your skin tone among a dozen of them, and get a hud that allows you to pick a brow colour (and there's even a no brow option, I've been told it's a very useful feature) and a whole lot of eye make up, lipstick and lipgloss tones.

10/09/2016 - Once upon a time I was a Fae

... and once in a while I let my inner fae out, just for the sake of it (and a pretty picture).
Like today, a greyish saturday morning, when I woke up way too early and even the cats are still sleeping, I feel a little nostalgia. I'd like to dedicate today's post to a few people who probably won't read it (and some who will), my crew from the sim-that-must-not-be-named. I miss you all.
